Wishapear is built on trust. Anonymous conversation is a gift — and we take our responsibility to protect that space seriously. Here's how we keep you safe, and how you can protect yourself.
Built-in safety features
Instant block
Tap "Report" in any chat to instantly disconnect and block that person. They cannot reconnect with you.
Skip anytime
Not feeling the conversation? Skip to a new person instantly. No explanation needed.
True anonymity
No one can find out who you are. No profiles, no photos, no real names required.
No message history
Conversations disappear when ended. No one can screenshot your chat history from our servers.
How to stay safe on Wishapear
- Never share your real name, phone number, address, or social media handles with strangers
- Trust your instincts — if a conversation feels wrong, end it immediately
- Never agree to meet someone you met on Wishapear in person
- Do not share photos that could identify you or your location
- If someone asks for money or personal information, that is a scam — end the chat and report
- Use the Report button freely — it helps protect everyone
- Do not share financial information, passwords, or sensitive documents
Reporting bad behavior
Every chat has a "Report" button. Tapping it immediately ends the conversation, blocks the person, and sends an anonymous report to our moderation team. Reports are reviewed and repeated violations result in permanent bans.

Protecting young users
Wishapear is for users aged 16 and above. We have zero tolerance for any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors. Any such content will be reported to the relevant authorities immediately.
If you believe a minor is using the app or has been exposed to inappropriate content, please contact us immediately at safety@wishapear.com.
